What is the Alma TED?
The Alma TransEpidermal Deliver (TED) is a non-invasive hair growth treatment designed to address hair shedding, hair loss, and hair thinning. It is based on an ultrasound-based system that uses sound waves and air pressure to enhance the penetration of a powerful topical hair growth formula into the scalp. The Alma TED system includes a proprietary Tip engineered with Impact Delivery™ that offers a non-invasive, non-traumatic option to address the market’s growing hair loss concerns.
Which clients are good candidates for the TED?
The Alma TED treatment is aimed at individuals suffering from hair loss concerns and not limited to:
- Alopecia
- Childbirth, illness, or other stress related events.
- Hair Styles that pull on scalp
- Chemo Patients
- Hormone Imbalance
- Scalp Infections
The Alma TED is a cost-effective solution compared to the emotional and psychological impact hair loss can have on an individual. Those looking to address hair loss concerns, getting treated with the Alma TED at Ora Beauty is a viable option to consider.
What to expect after your treatment cycle
The treatment cycle comprises one monthly treatment spanning over three months. Most patients report reduced hair shedding and early growth signs after two weeks. Patients observe new hair growth after the first month, increased hair volume after two months, and hair filling in bald spots with reduced scalp visibility after three months.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Alma TED treatment is a pain-free, non-invasive treatment that does not require lasers, scalpels, or injections. During the 30-minute treatment, patients may feel some mild warmth on the scalp and a gentle buzzing feeling, which is not painful. In fact, most patients find the treatment relaxing and enjoyable.
Although clients have seen hair growth in as little as two weeks, we advise waiting at least 1 month to see significant changes in the growth of your hair.
There have been times when our clients request more treatments to really thicken their hair, but it is not necessary. After your three-treatment cycle, more than 90% of patients do not request to have more treatments.
